Sandyhills to Kippford Walk

Sandyhills to Kippford is a linear walk along the Galloway coast path, approx. 6 miles and 825 feet of ascent visiting Portling Bay, Port O’Warren, Castle Point, and Rockliffe.

We’ll meet in Kippford and take the bus from Kippford (bus fare not included in the walk cost) to Sandyhills.

Enjoy the spectacular coastline and views across the Solway to Cumbria and the Lake District.

Generally good firm ground underfoot, some ups and downs, with a couple of short steeper sections, otherwise very pleasant walking.

This is a small group walk (max. 8 people) at a relaxed pace.
