Where does time go?

It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the end of January already; where does time go!

I certainly hope that you have had the opportunity to get out and about this month. Here in Galloway we had an amazing 2-weeks of clear blue skies and sunshine over the Christmas and New-Year period. It was a bit cool and windy some days, but dressed appropriately in layers, it was perfect walking weather.

I was fortunate to be able to get out most days and used the time to visit some of my favourite places, revisit some trails that I had not been on for a couple of months and recce some new places that I look forward to sharing with you in the weeks ahead.

We’ve certainly had our fair share of rain since then, with some grey blustery days.

However, while it certainly may not feel like it in many parts of Scotland today, here in Galloway spring is on the way and the snowdrops are out!

Galloway has many special places where the snowdrops put on an amazing show. If you'd like to the opportunity to see some of these places, contact me and request a bespoke woodland snowdrop walk.
